Good news, LMFAO fans. A date has been set for their rescheduled gig at Rexall Place — Monday, Feb. 6.
The pop-hop pair were forced to postpone three shows on their Cherrytree Pop Alternative Tour, including a Dec. 21 gig in Edmonton, after Sky Blu suffered a wiggling injury.
Their opening acts and Cherrytree labelmates — Far East Movement (pictured above), Natalia Kills, Frankmusik, Kay, Colette Carr, and Rye Rye — decided to soldier on without LMFAO and performed a free show and signed autographs for about 1,000 fans on Wednesday at West Edmonton Mall.
“Edmonton: You got heart. Thank you for the super warm reception & mad kind hospitality,” tweeted Cherrytree Records.
Tickets to the Dec. 21 show will be honoured at the Feb. 6 gig. Refunds are available at point of purchase until Friday, Jan. 13.
Tickets are available at Ticketmaster. The opening acts have yet to be announced.
